Seats don't work

@ a glance in the dark, I couldn't find the fuse for the seats. They just died the other day but I haven't noticed aything else not functioning on the car so I'm having trouble pinpointing the issue. Any ideas/help???

thanks all

I had the same problem, couldn't figure it out and the driver seat didn't work right. The worm gear wouldn't engage the track so I couldn't put the seat all the way back. I just ordered a passenger side manual seat rack for $35 and called it good :D

Ha ha, I had to do the exact same thing as John. That worm gear just spun its little head off (I think there is a slide pin or rivet that sheared off of the end or something - I never really looked at it).

DO note (at least in my case) that the manual seat track doesnt allow the seat to go back NEARLY as far as the electric track did. My knees about touch the [aptly named] knee pad under the steering wheel.

John if one of us has time to figure out a fix, we gotta tell eachother so we can maybe get the power tracks back in there. I adjust mine once a blue moon but it had two runs left in it when I bought the car (I knew beforehand).

I will say that if you have adjusted the height lately, the wires can get pinched and short.

I do think that there is circuit protection for the seat but I cant recall what fuse (I think it is an underhood fuse).

Good luck.
