Seats

Thanks tx65coupe for the info. I will be on the lookout for Fox body seats in my area for my '66 coupe. Not sure how expensive it would be to re-cover them so they match the rear seats as close as possible.

I think if you hurt your back and have trouble because of it, a racing style seat is going to make it harder to get in and out of the car. If I was to change my seats, I would go with Fox seats or SN95 seats.

Found a pair locally of SN95 front seats, from a 1994 GT. I have not seen them yet but was told they are in good condition. Dark grey cloth but knew going down this path I needed to have them re-upholstered to closely match the '66 interior. I will go w/ a black vinyl pattern similar to the stock appearance.

Is everyone fairly confident these will work w/o major modifications, like cutting the floor, ext..?

Thats cool. I have not done it before, but from what I have been told and read on the forums, it is not that difficult of a swap.

My friend has Fox seats in his 68 and didn't have to do much modification at all. I think all that had to be done was altering the bottom of the seat.
