Sending unit?

The fuel gauge in my 94 gt isn't working. I have been told I need to replace the sending unit. If this is the case are there any recommendations as far as brands go?

I called ford to get one and was told they no longer make it for my car. I should have mentioned that, sorry. This is why I was asking about brands. Spectra seems to be the only one I can find.

I changed mine a few months back, the parts store all I've seen show the wrong one, mine was a Fox sending unit, and its like $60 got mine off ebay from laurel and it works fine, might pull tank off and check first.
