so i finally order and installed a pair on my 06... they were sweet for about a day and a half. then as i was turning i noticed that the right tsignal indicator was blinking erratically so after i got away from some cars i turned my left on (worked ok) i turned the right back on, owrked ok as well. i got home and hit the lock button twice on the key FOB and sure enough the right side only blinked one bulb (the middle)

i came back out about an hour later now it completely dosent work so i (in the freezing rain and wind advisory...michigan, i know) i pulled it out tested it on the other side still no operation switched some bulbs around nothing. of cousre CDC is closed so i put my factory harness in only after shivering and scratching my f**king lens and not to mention i hit a massive pothole last night and bent my 20" wheel...oh and this all happened after finding out last week that someone hit and ran my paint off of my front bumper cover that was just repainted under warranty due to a factory paing sag..

i cant win.... ill let you know what CDC tells me on the phone. i left them an email and they are only like 30 min from my house.

I've had no problems with mine. Hope CDC is at least willing to listen to you and get you back operating. Sucks to hear about your other issues.

There was a thread a while back on one of the mustang boards complaining of this very same problem with the CDC sequentials failing.

F-ing A

so i got out of my car and hit the lock button twice and guess what... now one of the drivers side lights does not operate. this is pretty rediculous. i know cdc makes some good stuff but now my cars lights look stupid. i think 4 of the 6 tail lights actually work when they are supposed to. what a headache

i think MRT and CDC share products and re-lable them. look at the similarities of the product pics. just an observation, but i could be wrong.

Just Great

I have been waiting since last week to get mine from CDC. I can tell ya this crap here does NOT build up my confidence! I never thought about locking the car with the remote, or that it would be any concern. What if you just hit it one time instead of two?

I hope CDC has the answer for us.

think how many kits they sell. then think about this: an unhappy customer makes sure to tel everyone they know about their experiences. a happy customer rarely tell ANYBODY! you hear about a few bad experiences, and it may be less than 1% of all units out there.

i would not worry about it yet. have faith in your purchase.

Yep

I like your style bigcat. In any case, they seemed like good people to deal with. I cant wait to pass my first Mustang Gt, and show off my turn signals!

Thanks. Warlok

Sequential Signals

I have them on my '05 & '07. My understanding is that it all happens in the wiring harness for the lights. In fact, I have the "old" harness in my trunk waiting to see if it has any value. Installation took place ONLY in the trunk.

CDC has excellent customer service, contact Patrick at PL@classicdesignconcepts.com and they'll take care of you, most of them were at SEMA last week. If I'm not mistaken they have a 3 year warranty. Mine went out and I received a new set in about a week.

I'd be really surprised if they didn't bend over backwards to take care of you. I've purchased and used many of their products and they always respond to e-mail and you can get them on the phone.

Enjoy your ride, your going to have a glitch occassionally and it's always a bummer.........

Just my thoughts

Installed a set of the CDC dynamite sticks on my sons '05 last week. Took maybe 20 minutes to complete. Works flawlessly and the install was simple and very straight forward, unlike the set of sequentials I installed on my '03 Cobra which required a new flasher module and a lot of splicing.

So it looks like maybe the CDC"s are ok and maybe not. Its all new to me, and the CDC set up looked the easiest and most straight forward to install.

I still have not recieved mine yet, I had to leave a message today on the phone, it was 4:35pm central. I didnt pay attention to where they are, but they say they quit at 4:30pm on the recording I got. I never got any tracking info from them and really want to get these bad boy's on the car.

Hopefully if I take my time and watch what Im doing, I wont screw the pooch!

some good news for a change

cdc shipped me a new harness no questions asked, however, the faulty harness blew 2 of my bulbs in the process. if anyone has priced these bulbs out they stink at $5.66 per bulb. be careful. no local parts stores had them in stock, they were all special order items.

Webelectric's are sweet.
So easy even I could do it, lol.
When I got home from work and saw that they arrived i figured I'd install them the next morning since it was dark out.
After sitting on the couch for about 15 minutes I said screww it, and went out and installed them.
Use the porch light, a flashlight and a battery operated camping lantern, lol.
Yeah, about 30 minutes. 20 for the first one, once I had my confidence up it took 10 minutes for the second one.
I recommend Webelectric's highly.
No splicing per se, just have to run an extra wire to the one bulb that only has two factory wires to it instead of three.
Too easy.

See' that's why I DO NOT recommend CDC for the sequentials.
Webelectric is the ONLY way to go!

I got them too from CDC on my 06. It makes you want to use the turn signals. Plus I think it just looks cool, even if I can't see it, I always think about them....like what does the guy behind me think...haha.

Just installed my CDC Sequential's

I dont know about all the horror stories im hearing about CDC sequentials. I hope these people are wrong. I just installed my set in my 07 GT and they work perfectly "so far".

I tried everything to make them do something weird and they just work! I had the emergency flashers going just to watch them and then locked and un locked the car with the remote over and over again with the flashers going. I had not heard anyone try this, and thought it ought to cause a fault if anything would, but happily no problem.

San Antonio is gonna see some new sequentials an a bad ass black 07 Stang, I intend to hunt down another new GT just to pass him and let him see the lights! I am such a child!!!
