Serial Number Location??

I need to know my Motors Serial Number. It's not a stock motor and I don't know where to start to look.

I've heard there is some kind of site you can enter your serial number of the motor and it'll show you the way your sparkplugs are suppose to be... In that case I need the Serial Number is because I need to know the firing sequence so I can put the sparkplug wires on right... So does anyone know a site where I can enter the Serial number to get the right way of putting my sparkplug wires on?

I think you are thinking of a VIN number check. Could you not just check your distributor for firing order? Or did you pull all the wires already? I believe there are only 2 different firing orders for the 5.0 HO engines....I will try to look it up for ya later...need sleep lol.

yeah the wires are already off...

but I have my VIN# but the engine in my car isn't from that year, its a different engine I believe.
