Well, the 81 notch is very close to being a finished car. I have to decide which notch to sell, and how much to ask. I don't really care about the labor I have building each car. It is more of a hobby than work, for me.

This isn't a "what's it worth" thread, but go on www.autotrader.com

Take a look at 81-93 Mustangs within 200 miles. WTF are people thinking? Look at some of the cars that are asking 15,000! They aren't anything special. I guess listing one of my notches a little high still wouldn't look nearly as bad as what these people are asking for their cars....(hatches, notches, verts it doesn't matter)

Then, there are some cars that don't look bad at all, and they are only asking 2,500-4,500. Those make my car look bad, asking so much!!

Yeah the wide swings in price make it hard to nail down. I sold my 92 LX/GT conversion for $7500 and at that time their were sevral alot nicer than mine for ALOT less. Its kinda hit or miss. I imagine you will want to play with the 81 for awhile and sell the black notch, no? PM me on what you might want for it and we might talk

I am for sure keeping the 81 for a little while. That's why I want it done so soon, so I can play April to June/July and still have time to sell one. The only thing is I want to bring it to Woodward 2008 to show her off to people who will actually understand the amount of time and work I put in it. Most people who look at it don't even know the difference between a 302 and a 281, and the difference with the 81 dash and the 2001 dash!! But there are some of my stang customers who love it.
