Seriously selling the car

Guero, I think you are #4 ...... and sometimes #8. :D

There have been a few SN95 owners on here that went and bought an 03-04 Cobra that ended up selling it just to get another SN95. I don't know why .... but I'd take a look there.

My advice would be like a couple others said ..... get something reliable. Ask your parents if it would be okay to keep the car somewhere (like a good friend's garage). Just tell them your plans with it & that it is not currently reliable enough to keep driving. Drop a few K's on a Ranger or something. They are reliable, get good mileage, cheap insurance, look good, and are Ford's! They're also some of the easiest vehicles to work on if you have to / want to. I've owned 4 of them and kinda wish I still owned one. That would be alot of $$ saved.

Tinker-
1. a mender of pots, kettles, pans, etc., usually an itinerant.
2. an unskillful or clumsy worker; bungler.
3. a person skilled in various minor kinds of mechanical work; jack-of-all-trades.
4. an act or instance of tinkering: Let me have a tinker at that motor.
5. Scot., Irish English.
a. a gypsy.
b. any itinerant worker.
c. a wanderer.
d. a beggar.
6. chub mackerel.
–verb (used without object)
7. to busy oneself with a thing without useful results: Stop tinkering with that clock and take it to the repair shop.
8. to work unskillfully or clumsily at anything.
9. to do the work of a tinker.
–verb (used with object)
10. to mend as a tinker.
11. to repair in an unskillful, clumsy, or makeshift way.

LOL. Hopefully its 7!!!!! lol

Sheesh, that's quite the list of definitions. I use it to mean: repairing little things that crop up (kinda' like 3 and 4).
Exempli gratia: In the evening I often go out to the garage and tinker with whatever broken crap I have to fix.............

That's what I meant, and it's certainly a good thing. I actually wasn't aware that tinkering had any negative meanings or connotations.

It just seems like you enjoy fixing and modifying the car, and though we get sick of it, we miss it if it's not there..............

I do like moding it. But man i put alot of work on it and still no good. But yeah i made my mind and a 05 im gonna get. And im gonna try to keep this 95. Store it ay my friends house if i can afford it

Aint that true (ditto for fox guys too).

Just keep the two cars. Initially tell your Dad that you don't know which you'll want to keep, and after awhile he wont care that there are two. Besides, there'd be two around for awhile anyhow - you'd be fixin up yours to sell private party.
