What's the story behind that? $108.20 seems like an odd number to buy a car for. Some sort of estate sale, or other odd scenario?

was abandoned and had a lean on it... ended up getting it for 100 and 8.20 for tax

The dude told the story. It was abandoned, then sold at auction . He was the only bidder at $100. Other bidders thought it was a plain fox.

Even if they thought it was a plain ole regular fox, it could still easily go for $4k+ depending on overall condition.
