I shredded my belt when the AC compressor locked up. New AC going in but I'm not sure what length or # belt to get. I have a KenneBell 1.7 SC with a nine pound pulley. Anyone got any suggestions?
Can't remember what size but I have one at home. It's a brand new spare that I never used when I had my KB 1.7. If you would like I will make sure it's still there and you can have it for the cost of shipping since I have no use for it. I think it's the Gates brand that KB recommends.
Thanks 556. That real generous of you but I'd rather just buy one. My car is at the shop and I was hoping to get it complete tommorow. If worse comes to worse I'll eyeball the length and chance the purchase. I do appreciate your offer though.
I can't seem to find my KB install guide since I moved house. Do you or anyone else have a picture of the routing of the belt. I've been tearing my place apart looking for the damn instruction guide but no luck.
I understand. I will see if I can get the part # for you in the morning. I don't have the install instructions anymore but I think there are some diagrams on modularpowerhouse.com and modularfords.com for the belt routing.
