Probably does not help with the added traffic because the Corral is down today...

I'm so frustrated right now with it. I keep getting it too. Stuff like this is why I seldom go to the corral anymore. And what's up with making the quick reply window smaller with this big advertisement to the right??? I understand that the advertisments pay the bills and they are the reason the site is free to all the users, but there's no need for the new setup. If anything I'm less likely to clikc on them just due to being annoyed with them.

I just have a smaller quick reply box, no ads. Yea, stangnet is definitley going down hill from what it used to be. I hardly visit corral anymore cuz of this crap.

I am getting it too. I hate the stupid advertisments too, I just made the whole quick reply box go away.

I'm not happy about it either guys, and also I had a problem awhile back accessing stangnet from internet explorer, but AOL worked fine and some other friends of mine had that same problem

Anyways, as bad as it sucks, it could be worse.

IMHO when you guys start paying for this site you can bitch about the advertising....

Not a personal attack, but people, this stuff is not cheap to run.....

Get off StangNet, then, and go to the track instead!

Did you read my reply??? Either way, they have on the main page that they have updated the serves in anticipation for the proposed added traffic from the '05 mustang, I hope this isn't an early indication of what's to be expected. As much as the advertisers are needed... so is the target audience.... namely us.

Dont get me wrong Paul, I read what you said but I think this is pretty passive without going to some bombardment advertising ... I did not really mean any disrespect to you... This was not the only spot that I read people complaining about the advertising, just the only one I replied in......

This is the main reason I became a gold member...mine flies all the time and very rarely have probs....I enjoy coming on and not having to fight log on, dial up BS, no ads or pop-up chit.....Stuff like this makes the net a drag to be on..
Its worth every cent to me.. Some think it should be free...I would rather pay 29.00 a year and be done with it...

I wonder if the reason I see zero ads is my Norton anti-virus blocks everything. Gold member would be nice, might have to look into that.
