My service engine lite came on tonight car is 2 months out of warranty and only 12,000 mi I have a cai and tuner comming next week from breenspeed should I take this to the dealer first to have it checked out or just load the new tune? Has anybody had this lite come on in a stock car? Does disconnecting the battery reset this?
Thanks Randy

You should be able to clear the code with the SCT tuner.

Most likely a loose gas cap and if so it will clear the code itself after a couple starts and stops with a tight cap. If not, any OBDII scanner will clear the code, even the ones you use at Auto Zone or AAP's.
