it should... that light seems to come and go when there is a problem. if the code is not there, i dont know what u could do. hope its not anything serious.
The code will still be stored in your car's computer unless you disconnected the battery for more than 15 minutes. For now, maybe you should slow down.
How about a lil' more info from ya. What year, any mods, how many miles. Do you have a handheld tuner? If you do you may be able to use it to scan for codes.

I took her to Auto Zone this morning. I have a P0300 Mutiple Cylinder Misfire. I'm going to try a couple of things then have the code cleared out. I'll let ya'll know the status as I go.
Oh, the light only flashed that one time it hasn't came back since. There is no ticking or pinging noises at all.
And at that speed the car felt ultra strong like it wanted me to keep going.
A code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty spark plugs or wires
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
Faulty fuel injector(s)
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s)
Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
Faulty camshaft position sensor
Defective computer
Faulty spark plugs or wires
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
Faulty fuel injector(s)
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s)
Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
Faulty camshaft position sensor
Defective computer
Another thing that can cause that code is if you have a Steeda timing adjuster installed and there is the slightest wobble while rotating.
