I took another leap with the coupe this week. Changed the entire drivetrain. I bought a 6 puck sprung hub clutch, switched to a 3.73 8.8. Welded a set of upper control arms. I added my MSD 6AL box, coil, and a 2-step(which I only used once). I still used the 80shot. I tried the 100shot but had technical difficulties so no times on that yet.
I had 2 good runs and then the best so far.

R/T: .455
60: 1.746
330: 5.131
1/8: 7.992
MPH: 86.28

The car was hitting very and we got an awesome video of that run. I raced amanda's brother with a 5.0+100shot and I pulled a few cars on him

Wow that should be about a 12.5 in the 1/4 mile. Pretty impressive.

yeah we think it would be good for a mid 12sec run. I hope to change the top end on the engine in the next 2 weeks. Hopefully I get at least run it on a full shot this coming week. I've also come to the conclusion that this could "very" easily be an 11sec car.
7.81 is the fastest my 351 car ever went and I've got a shot at running over that too.

I will definately try to post this video. We(including several people who were standing next to the car when it took off) said I pulled the drivers side wheel a little. The video shows it but I haven't watched it in slo-mo yet.

thanks. well I unloaded it today and it ran like crap, so I'll have to check it over tomorrow. Thursday is coming up very quick. Instead of trying to make 15 passes I'm shooting for only 5 runs with big cool down times.

Found out More info Today.
The guy that I sort of got into a fight with a few weeks ago because I outran him, sold his car 2 days after I hit the 7's.

Damn, thats quick, what are your mods? I just bought another 5.0 hatchback guys, but i'm still searching for a 4 cyl. I'd love to hear some tips on building a turbo motor.
P.S. I'll post pics of me and my new 5.0 tonight when i get home.
