I test drove a 96 GT over the weekend and right around the 3000-3500 rpm range it fell on its face. Once it got past 3500 it cleared up. The owner said he thought it was because it didnt have mil eliminators. It had a check engine light. It had a UPR x-pipe and a Magnaflow catback. Those were the only mods to the car. Would the lack of mil's cause this or is it more of a iac or maf issue? Im use to 302s and dont have a ton knowledge of the 4.6! Any help would be greatly appreciated
