the front subs have pre existing amps which are located on the drivers side kick panel. but they arent the standard 12volt. i believe they are ~5volts, so you cant just replace the front subs.

Ok, well if i cant change the front subs then heres a new question...In my 03 gt I had the mach audio system and added a couple 10's in the trunk. I was able to pick up the audio signal in the trunk using a line out converter and a few splices..Is there anyway i can do the same in my 05 gt w shaker 500, rather than find the signal all the way behind the h/u? Thanks in advance

rock gt, where did you tap of of? what kind of line out converter and does it soud clear, compared to running it off the head unit? oh yea...and where did you run your remote off of? I had a hard time with the remote on my 03 gt and ended up wrapping it around one leg of the fuse that protect the wipers or something..
