Shaker 500 with Sirius and Triptunes Advance

I just bought a nice 2009 Mustang equipped with a Shaker 500 and the TripTunes Advance option. I don't own an Ipod. I just had the Sirius satellite turned on and found I cannot access Sat 1. This seems to be set up for Ipod controls. I've looked the owners manual, useless. I found the TripTunes Advance manual and printed it, also no reference to sacrificing Sat 1 of the Sirius. I would prefer the extra 6 satellite stations to the Ipod option. Am I missing something here?
