Just wondering if the lights on the radio are suppose to work, I just had the 2nd new radio put in and the light on the radio do not come on when I turn the headlights on.

The only display I get is the time, but to change stations when it's dark outside is impossible as I can't see any button

Is the dimmer turned down?

If the dimmer was turned down it would dim everything. Dash lights, console lights including the time.

Maybe a short in the harness?

take it back, the dealer did not properly install the shaker. you need to program the unit, and obviously, they did not do it because this is the result.

click the TSB link in my signature and look for the programming shaker procedure TSB, this will explain it all.

Darn, bigcat beat me to it! Yep, it needs to be programmed. Take it back, and wait for it! I had it done last week. I thought they were going to need the car for awhile, so I had someone meet me there and take me to work. 20 minutes later, I get a call from the dealer saying it's ready.
