Alright fellas, i just looked on my credit card and i have about 1000 dollars to spend now, thanks to daddy paying it off, ha.. anyways, i have a 2004 Black GT and have had my eye on maybe a shaker hood. I know it will look pretty good, but i was wondering is it worth the 800 bucks? Is there any good power gains? Different sound? Right now im stock and dont want to do exhaust till i get few mods so i'll get a full exhaust system with 3"inch. Is the shaker hood worth it? and does anyone know how hard the install will be? Thank everyone, you guys are the best.

And no I don't think shaker hood is worth $800 hard earned cash. It look cool as hell, but in reality, very small power gain, if at all.
I'd rather spend that on Longtube or something.

I have the CDC kit, and while I think it would be worth 800 skins if it came painted the way you wanted, it is a style only mod, CDC claims 2-3 hp, wich may or may not be true but at least they didnt' say 10-20 hp.
Any how I think the price keeps a few people from doing it, wich makes it a definate stand out item. If thats what you want, get it, I love mine.
*edit* and to be fair KarKraft makes a kit that uses the Mach1 hood, and Banshee RamJet makes one too. I liked the CDC kit because the shaker is a direct bolt on for the 69 Machs wich to me is cooler than just copying a style note off a 03/04 MAch
