Hey everyone I should be starting on the bodywork for my '88 GT soon, and I am considering shaving the antenna but, I don't want to lose all my radio reception. Is there anything I can do to get decent reception with a shaved antenna?

yeah you can route the antenna inside the fenderwell from what i've heard. just flip it and bend it however you need to then patch the hole back up....

just buy a different style antenna like this ebay one, mounts on your windshield, I am sure you could get one cheaper than that though.

Subscribing; had my antenna hole filled, but haven't come up with a solution for alternative placement yet.
