Hi Guys,
Every template that I print from online prints the wrong size, either too large or too small. I have checked this by measuring the original holes on the car and the "existing holes" on the templates. None of the templates give the actual measurement between the holes, even though they give the measurement of the drop, 1 inch. I can easily make my own 1/8 inch steel template if I know the exact measurement between the existing holes. My measurements come up with 4.75 inches but I want to be sure that I'm not off by a couple or few thousandths as I don't want to have to "hog out" the holes. Does anyone know what the "official" measurement is?
Thanks a whole heap
Gene

Make sure you check where the drill will come out on the shock tower inside the engine bay.
I did the drop on my cougar and came out on the inside at the edge of the inner support. I had to weld extra metal onto so I could get 100% contact with the bolt.

On the Mustang I will be going with the TCP option
