can anyone tell me how and possibly use pictures to demonstrate how you do the shelby drop on a 67 coupe. Im fixina redo my suspension and wanted to do that while i was in there. thanks
Take a look at these. The first link is to the TCP upper control arm instructions. There are step-by-step photos included. I didn't put the lowering templates in the pdf due to printing scale concerns. The second link is to a template at TheCarSource.com. Check the scale of the image before use.
The drop doesn't do anything for looks really. What it does is help correct the camber gain characteristics of the front suspension for better handling.
depends on how big of a drop you do. As long as you limit to a 1" drop you're fine. You can drop further, but you'll bind your ball joints. So bigger drops require aftermarket equipment to be done right. I believe you can get kits to do a larger drop on stock arms.
