Shelby short throw shifter question

Anyone have the Shelby short throw shifter? If so, how is the feel?

Also, does the stock shifter pop over for the 2nd to 3rd shift? Mine does, so I just want to make sure it doesn't have an aftermarket shifter already (used '06 GT)

The stocker does center itself, but not very well for spirited 2-3 shifting. The best way to tell would be to look under the car. Or you could pull up the leather shifter boot and see if the shifter handle is aftermarket or not.

Thanks for the info. I checked it and it's definately the stocker.

So, anyone have the Shelby?

I don't know anybody with one. You might take a look at the MGW shifter. I can safely say it's the highest rated shifter by far.
