In a recent magazine there is a 69 coupe with them. I want them on my 67 coupe, but I'm not wild about the ones that came on those cars. Are there any 65 style rear brake scoops that fit the quarter of a 67?

I considered doing this when I started building my '67 Shelby clone. I'm not too wild about the looks of the '67-'68 style scoops, either. If I were you I'd measure the distance between the top and bottom body lines where a '66 Shelby scoop would mount and if it's in the ballpark, I'd order a set and try it. No matter which type of scoops you buy, they're not going to bolt right on out of the box, so may as well get the style you like, right?

Those are the ones I like. It would be nice to have a buddy with some in the garage to let me test fit to see how much it would take to fit them to a 67.

Another option may be to try Eleanor-style scoops. They look alot like the '66 scoops, but are made to fit '67-'68 bodys. Do a little searching and you'll probably find a company that only sells the scoops and not the whole Eleanor kit.
