hey guys, i have a black 06 mustang gt and im really interested in finding a vinyl white shelby stripe kit for her. I think it'd be great and i have a wonderful body shop who can put it on straight and correctly. Anyone got any links? (btw, if u have pics of other stripe designs go ahead and post up!)

Stripes

Save the money and have them painted on. The vinyl will start to fade and crack after a few years, not to mention it will eventually damage the paint under it because water will find away to get between. I'm saving to have gold stripes painted. Hopefully it will look something like this:

Sorry Like this

This is what I eventually will try to achieve:

"Also produced in ’66 were 1001 special models made for Hertz car rental. These GT350s had chromed Magnum 500 wheels, and were usually black with gold trim. Most of the Hertz cars came with the C4 three-speed automatic transmission. However, some Hertz GT350 cars were equipped with four-speed transmissions. In April 1966, a Paxton supercharger became an available option."

If you're gonna go, go all out Save your cash and have them painted, there are a couple cars around here with vinyl and they just don't have the same glamour as painted ones. Of course, this is a biased opinion however
