shell weight?

Does anyone know what a '65 'vert shell weighs, or how many people it would take to pick it up?

Hi,
I asked this same question when I did a make-over of my junk. The shell being minus doors, front fenders, trunk, front glass, suspension, etc. If I recall, it was somewhere between 500 and 800 lbs., I think. I know, I could lift the front with the rear section stablilized.

Hi! a 66 coupe bare shell weight 420 pounds , a vert should be close to that. it is about 140 pounds for the front end and 280 pounds rear.

that's perfect. Weighing only 4-500 lbs should allow me to build a cheap wooden rotisserie.
