Well it's been about II years since I've had the Cobra on the road. Over this past winter I made a few change to the factory 302 engine with 41K on the bottom end. Here's the list; 8-qt oil pan. hi-vol oil pump and CM shaft, Edelbrock Performer cam, Crane Energizer 1.7 ratio roller rockers, E7TE heads, Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 600 vac sec carb, and for now open Hooker Super Comp headers.

Jeff,
The car sounds great! I can appreciate the fact that it revs very well so you must have the carb setup pretty close.

I know you mentioned using a larger oil pan that you purchased off e-bay on another thread. I was thinking about replacing my oil pan because I overtightened the gasket and it leaks a small amount now. Anyways is this the oil pan you puchased:

Does this oil pan have a baffle like the Milodon one? Did you have to change your starter or will the factory starter fit?

Thanks,
david
