Hi. I just picked up a bone stock 95 GT with 42,000 miles on the clock. I’m trying to decide between Transgo or Baumann kits. How hard are these to install? After seeing instructions on Transgo website it looks pretty intimidating and not real clear. Thanks for any info you all can provide.

Did the Transgo 20yrs ago on an AOD,wasn't bad at all. Now,you have an AOD-e so I don't know how different it may be.

Are you talking about the mods to convert it to manual shift?

No. I’m thinking about the Transgo AODE HD2. I want to tighten up the shifts as the tranny is really sluggish, nothing like the challenger scat pack I owned recently!

i put the bauman kits in several vehicles,and think its a little more used friendly. can change the drill sizes for the separater plate to adj what you want. these were aods and worked well

I ended up getting the Transgo kit. I haven’t installed it yet though. Thanks for the replies!
