i was wondering what you guys thought about them. i was told that maybe i should check soem of them out. and i was told the computer program ones were messing up some transmissions. do you know if this is true
DON'T GET A TRANSGO SHIFT KIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This guy Jerry who was if I'm correct an engineer for Ford that designed our Transmissions so he knows EVERYTHING about them and the shift kits are a waste of money and are not good for the trans. Go to www.tccoa.com and then click on technical articles, then i think transmission and everything you need to know about "Jerry's Mod" is under there. It is his version of the shift kit that is done the right way. It is very detailed instructions and many peopel have done them. I would ask around here about jerry's mod or even try the TCCOA (Thunderbird and Cougar Club of America ) forums. I would definitely trust Jerry over anyone else when it comes to my trans.
