Shift Kits

does anyone have A shift kit installed on an auto transmission? Can you feel a difference in the shift?

My friend has one installed on his 04 GTO. He swears it shifts harder/more consistently. In theory, it should make acceleration quicker by reducing shift slippage I think.

Imho, you'd be better off getting a tune. Much benefit can be had by adjusting things electronically than mechanically in the newer transmissions.

Run a search for auto tune and you will find the reputable tuners.

The car is tuned already. Was wondering if I can get quicker shifts with a kit.
