I just picked up an Autometer RPM module because I am going to make my own shift light. Does anyone know which wire is the "Tach" wire off the ECU, because I need to tap with the GREEN wire from the unit. The diagram say that you can tap into the Tach terminal on electronic ignition. Below is the wiring instructions. All inputs appreciated. Thanks

it is the one that does not show constant 12 volts. IIRC, it is the wire closest to the pass side. DO NOT ACT ON WHAT I SAID ALONE - I'm just tossing out what i recall in case it jogs someone's memory.

also, IIRC, the wire has a stripe on it (the 12 volt wire does not).

good luck.
