just curious did the stock shift light in the 85 mustang actually work? and how would one be able to get it working once again

that would have been a Gas economy shift light, it would light up at low rpm shift points to help you save fuel.
is there a way to change it? i have a msd shift light in the vent but i though it would be cool to be able to use that one

prolly the easy way would be to tie a ligt bulb in to the msd shift light and install it behine the oem shift light
