If I move my shifter to the left while in neutral, it will stay to the left and will not go back to the middle position, and If I move it to the right it will go back to the middle. Is this cause my looseing cable or I need to tight something up ? any ideal ? thanks
If it's an aftermarket shifter, the centering spring either broke or came loose. I had it happen to me with a hurst shifter. You'll need to take the shifter off to repair.
It would help to know what car you drive so we can know which manual trans you have and also if the shifter is stock or not.
Not sure what you mean by a loosening cable though
