Just like the title says. I need to replace mine. It is torn up and finally seperated completely from the plastic. I would like something custom so what can I do?

Let's see some pics of what you guys have done.

i've wanted to do this but ended up find a j/y one that wasn't bad so i just used that. i was just going to get some faux leather from a fabric place and have my grandmother sow it together from the old pattern and hot glue it to the base.

I almost got a new shift boot from Shift boot store - RedlineGoods leather shift boots, but my wife fixed the problem.

My shift boot was coming apart from the base and ring, but once my wife put some hot glue on all the loose parts, it is as good as new.

I would have settled with the black/black shift boot from Redline, but they do have lots of color and stitching options.

I purchased a replacement boot on Ebay from Seller "nedj2000'. I had an automatic plastic bezel that I used since it was in much better condition than the stick shift one that came on the car. I took the boot and used fast setting epoxy to attach it to the plastic. Clean the plastic with alcohol in the places it attaches. I just had to cut out a small section for where the cigarette lighter was at. The top of the new boot did not have the metal grommet but was sewn small enough to just fit over the stick. I used a washer and a nut the same thread pitch of the stick to hold the boot down. I then attached my Hammer Lever shifter handle.
