Anyone else have this problem? My shifter knob is coming out of positon, especially after hard driving. The knob is slightly off-center and I have to carefully twist it back in place. It really pisses me off, because it can screw up my shifting if it twists too far.

Do I need to spin the shifter knob clockwise to tighten it or something? Anyone have a fix for this? If I need to pop the shifter knob off, how do I do this (pull or unscrew?)?

Mines a little loose as well. It always seems to end up turned a little clockwise...with the top in the 1 or 2 o'clock position. However, I have left it that way since it fits my hand perfectly with that offset. Once it has turned to that position...it doesn't move anymore. This only started after the Triax install.

the shifter knob just screws on and off. if it needs to be tightened, rotate it until tight. i have had my knob off a few times, and i just tighten it down until it is firm and in the postion i want.

They unscrew. Counterclockwise to take it off, clockwise to tighten it. If it is a little loose, put some muscle in it and tighten it one more rotation.

Loctite, screw it on as far as you can (within reason), then back it out to straight, then let it sit overnight.
