I've got a 5 spd 08 gt, over bumps there is a lot of movement in the shifter. I've got about 50,000 miles on the car. My first thought is mounts, either trans or motor. Does anybody have experience with this and any suggestions/ part numbers?
I have a CHE K member brace with torque limiters that prevents the transmission from moving. It is not all that expensive and is easy to install yourself. The shifter is not directly mounted to the transmission, and the K member brace is more meant to improve shifting during acceleration, not so much due to bumps though.
