there are many online places that will give you a quote to ship a vehicle. Be careful when selecting because many are brokers who act as middle men in getting your vehicle shipped. Be sure to inquire if they are brokers or will be the actual party shipping the vehicle. Otherwise costs may change (usually upwards) and you may have loads of hassles.

Hopefully someone will be able to chime in with a company they had success with. I was looking at shipping my mustang to the UK and had a hard time getting a quote that included unloading/unpacking/etc on the UK side. i noticed on a quote from a online company that those fees were not included. The company did not want to tell me what it would cost and when I asked for the USDOT and MC license numbers I never heard from them again.
Any reputable company will provide those license numbers to you and with them you can look up the company and get some additional info on them.

read this as well, it pertains to movers and applies to car transport companies too.

I had my car shipped about 2 months ago from san antonio, tx to chicago. I used dependable auto shippers and was very happy with there service. Had absolutely no problems at all.

Location/Cost/Company

I am interested in this topic as well. My move is from Boulder, CO to San Diego, California. Anyone who has shipped their car, let's us know where you shipped from and to, how much it cost you, and what company you used.
