shock help..

i have a 83 mercury capri driven about 5 times a week, with the 4 shocks on the rear axle. i would like to replace them with really good shocks, does any one have any recomendations?? i was looking at kyb for dampner and Lakewood Rear Drag Shock: Street/Strip 50/50 for the larger ones. any help would be greatful.

and maybe some info on front struts and if a tower brace makes that much of a diffrence
