Last night driving to the bar a white 05-up revved at me. He was too far passed by the time I realized, but I was shocked. First time being acknowledged by a new stang, I didn't think any of those guys noticed older stangs. It was pretty cool. I always wonder if it's that they think their's are better than our's, or if it's just that the new generation cars are so popular that non-mustang people are buying them and it's just become mainstream...

Well i think alot of the guys in 05/06 mustangs are the old school guys who like all mustangs...its us that don't like them ....

I have not had an 05+ wave or rev. 90% of the 05+'s I see are V6s. I know when I see a mustang in a parkeing lot I try to park next to it.

I had a 40+ year old hard of hearing guy pull up to me at a light after i got out of the gym. He was in an 06 coupe and started talkin trash to me.
HIM: "hey nice stang, but mines nicer...and probably faster!"
ME: "Oh yeah? I'd race ya but im a bit tired from the gym" (we were also on a highly patrolled road)
HIM: "I have just a chip and an intake and i'm up to 350hp

(we took off seperate ways at the next light in front of us about 500ft ahead)
Thats the only story i have of 05+ stangs though. I'm dying to race one to see how i'd do

I saw a nice black '05+ GT in the liquor store parking lot the other day. When I went inside the only guy I saw in there looked more like he'd drive a Camaro. He looked like a redneck, had long greasy looking hair, trucker's baseball cap on, week old beard, dirty jeans and a plaid lumberjack shirt (I swear!). Sure enough... it was his. I could only shake my head.
