I was wondering...

Does my car have shocks or struts in the front, it is a 92, I was thinking a moment ago, and the spring sets seperatly from the strut/shock, doesnt it?

I dont know, I am not good with suspension.

Thanks.

A strut is a shock that also acts as a control arm. The front has struts and the rear has shocks on our cars.

Yes it does. Just so you know, they are called modified MacPherson struts. Modified, because the coil springs are inboard of the struts. Normally, MacPherson suspensions are a coilover design. Want more? Start here: http://www.miracerros.com/mustang/t_suspension.htm

struts=front
shocks=back
no coil overs on the shocks/struts, all separate.

quad shock, are mounted in the rear, parallel with the body to prevent axle wrap

Right. There are two sets of shocks on the back, one set goes up and down, one goes side to side. The quads go side to side. Not all stangs have them, but most 5.0's do.
