I have asked this question befor, and I didn't really get the answer I needed.
now, question is that I need to get shocks/struts for my car, as I'm getting ready to do my spring(sportline).
I'm thinking about these
Now, I was told in the past that alot of people use the fox body struts/shocks after lowering their cars because they are shorter and therefore provide more piston travel of the shocks because of the lowered ride height, or something in that nature.
Now, is this really true, or someone smoking something up their butts?

I was thinking about KYB just because I had such a good luck with these things in the past(had it on my old 89 MR2, and 88Supra), and they were really comfortable, and provided really good grip, where as adjustable Koni i had in my 99 cougar sucked azz(could never get the stiffness right.either too soft, or too stiff ), and Tokico blue i had on my 00 focus with 2" drop made the car ride like dump truck .

plus I've been really poor lately, and in the reality, any shock is better than worn out shocks/struts. right

Hrm.. hope my Tokico blues turn out okay. I bought the springs/shocks/struts all in a box on eBay for $400 shipped. Maybe I can have them installed today

I had Bilsteins on my 01 and they were great. The only issue I had was they hurt my traction because they were stffer but it made the corners more fun. It was also kind of fun to get 20 foot second gear fishtailing burnouts but that doesnt help when you want traction!
