While not answering your question directly....you should just invest in a Haynes repair manual. They are well worth the money spent.Only about $14 at your local Advanced Auto Parts store.Forget Chiltons....I've never liked them and they aren't very detailed or vehicle specific like the Haynes manuals are.

As far as downloadable free manuals.....good luck on that one.Usually there's a fee for these.

The one gripe I have about Haynes, and pretty much all car repair manuals is the pictures. They are impossible to see. Why can't they make them larger and in color???? I'd definitely pay more for that.

They've become grainy....mainly because they've been over re-printed from older copies. But if you want detail..try a factory direct repair manual.$50 - $70 bucks and you get details right down to every nut and bolt on the car.

I have the Chiltons CD. It was $20 and it is installed on 1 pc. Um I mean (CHEATING) you install it on one pc for your car. I have 3 Mustang Builds, and 3 PC's So, I installed the V6 on the Garage PC, the SVO on the laptop and the 2.3L on my son's PC. That $20 went a long way already

Haynes and Chiltons are both alright if you want torque specs or a general idea of the procedure. Otherwise contact Ford and they can get you a shop manual. It'll cost though.
