im looking in to getting a 04 gt convertible soon and was wondering if there should be anything that i should watch out for when it comes to 2004 mustang convertibles. this will be my first mustang and i may not know what to look for
any heads up would be very helpful.
im going to go look at one this weekend it as the 40th special edition package with Arizona beige strips with 62,000 miles on the clock with a 5 speed stick.
thanks for any help that anyone can give.

We have three Mustang verts here at home. 1999-8,000 mile, 1999- 30,000 mile and a 2004 chrimson red with 28,000 miles. I woud start by finding the lowest mile 2004 that is as stock as possible and then set it up to your liking.

If the top looks like it's in good condition with no rips/tears/holes and the weather stripping along its sides and the A-pillars is still in good condition, it shouldn't leak. Just make sure it seats well with the windows/latches.

Have a good mechanic check it out. The condition of the top, tires, brakes, clutch, body etc. may affect the price. Plus a Carfax check is important.

I got my 04 last year with 16k miles. All I've done is to replace the gas filter and oil changes. I did drop 3k in performance and visual mods...very addictive!

Depends how loud you want i got magna packs and they sound amazing, but are very loud when you break them in. You should go to You tube and watch some exhaust clips, that's how i choose mine.
