Short shifter...Are these an good?

Has anyone bought the short shifters on ebay for $50? Are they any good? I was going to put a link but I guess we are not spos to be doing that anymore.

don't know about those, but i'd try scoring a tri-ax without a handle and using your stock handle--may be cheaper than buying it complete.

i myself am running this and like it!

I'd just go ahead an fork up the extra cash for a decent one that I know I'll like. IMHO, the shifting is where you get a lot of your driving satisfaction, so you shouldn't skimp out on that aspect of your car.

I agree. I drove my neighbors 94 V6 the other day and the shifting was horrible. I knew my MGW made a difference but since I've had it for a year now I forgot just how bad the stock 1 was.

Just don't get the steeda sport shifter. Its a pile of junk. Feels like a wet noodle.

If you're going to buy the parts, get quality, proven ones. You'll regret skimping and end up buying the better stuff later. If you don't want to spend that much on new stuff then just keep an eye out for quality used gear. It's hard to get a used shifter for cheap though, because there's nothing really that gets worn or breaks.

i bought my hurst used on here... keep an eye out you can find them used at good prices..
