short throw or not

sorry for the stupid question but is the length of handle just a preferance thing or does that effect the throw of the shifter also?

I think it's mostley a preferance thing but it does make a difference in the throw of the shift

It is a matter of preferance but,it does have a affect
on the throw of the shifter.

Thanks I guess its the smaller=shorter?

Which handle is easier to grab if i end up getting one i dont want to have to sturggle to put it in gear, that would just make the short throw pointless.

Thanks again never expected this much feedback!!!

I have the Steeda Tri Ax shifter and it is very easy to grab and shift.
I find it to be a very popular shifter.The shifts are postive and it feels
good to shift.

Nice, guess i need to find a blue and orange handle.

You can buy an orange from the website right?

I belive you can purchase the orange shifter handle separate if
you give them a call and order one.

the orange is the only one they make now....you just have to look around to find the red and blue one somewhere
