I finally have my 1970 Mach1 back on the road again, Woo-Hoo! However, I have a little issue with installing my Shaker Hood assembly on my new motor (351C 4v) I installed a complete MSD system # 8350 Pro-Billet distributor, # 6201 Digital box & # 8207 E-Coil. I have now found out that the MSD Distributor is to Tall and I can't install my Shaker Hood? What's up with that? I contacted MSD and I'm told they don't have a shorter distributor that will work with my application? Dose anybody know of an Hi-Perf distributor that is short enough to work with the Shaker Hood? This totally Sucks! The car is running Awesome. Please let me know of any ideas you all may have. Thank You!

Hey, thanks for the reply restomoded66. That is a great idea. Do you know where I could find one?

Duraspark distributors are readily available at almost every parts store and bone yard in the country. And, they are usually like only 50 bucks or less, new reman at the store.
