how much gain on average are these on a stock PI headed GT? im thinkin of doing headers. im gonna get shorties, but what's better, equal or unequal length? how much are they usually and where can i order some? thanx
yeah pretty much not work it at all unless you do longtubes. you can spend less money that the 399 your prolly going to spend on the shorties & get something else that will make more power. i.e.- plenum/tb. just my .02
I've seen several dynos for JBAs putting out 9 rwhp. I haven't seen any dynos fo rthe new BBK equal length shorties though. It'll be interesting to see how they respond.
There's an article in this months 5.0 comparing BBKs shorties and LTs for either a 302 or a 347, I forget. The results were pretty interesting, seems like the equal length made more hp up top but less torque in the bottom and mids than the non-equal lengths. I may have that backwards though.
