Has anyone else experienced poor reception with the shorty antenna? I usually listen to talk radio on my way to work in the morning; however, with the install of the short antenna, reception has been diminished. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?
A short antenna will ruin AM reception quite a bit, and FM only slightly. I cut my stock antenna down to about 10" and AM is nearly useless, but FM still works good enough for me.
