Shorty headers

Is anyone using the 86-93 shorty headers on their 65-66 mustangs? I found a set for 85.00 and need to know if they will fit. Thanks.

Even though the late model stangs have 5.0 engines, I would think that you would have to modify the headers slightly and plug the oxygen sensor on the headers. Remember that 65-66 stangs have a smaller engine compartment than 67 and up stangs.

they don't fit.

What is the major problem? Motor mount, shock tower, firewall?

shock tower; they don't bend down soon enough.
