Im hoping to get some better 60' times next time I head to the track and was wondering if removing the front swaybar is worth it on a basically stock car with a totally stock suspension? What kind of improvements would I be looking at with it removed? Is it hard to swap in and out? Thanks.

I find it easy to swap in and out and traction on my nittos was really reduced when i put it BACK on a few weeks ago.

I can put it on in the parking lot with the car on the ground

taking it off for he forst time might be a 30 minute project....puting it back on about 15

If you're not too sure and don't want to do "all" the work, spend a few minutes and just disconnect your driver's side endlink. It will simulate pretty closely what it's like without the swaybar -- just without the weight advantages.

Its free and it helps transfer weight to the rear wheels better for improved 60ft times.

Whats involved in the swap? Seems pretty easy, but I never actually got under there and took a look, though I will in the morning. Is it just a bunch of bolts? And would I have any issues just disconnecting the driver's side endlink? Thanks a lot.

I always take them (the front only) off. If your car is lowered, then the lower your car is the less effect it will have.

Pros of removal
- Removes weight
- Better weight transfer
- That many less bushings to worry about

Cons of removal
- Your car will .. Sway.. more = less responsive in turns

My opinion, if you want to drag race remove it, if you want to run road course style keep it.

Just my .02

I'm probably the only that will say this here, but removing it actually HURT my 60' times. I know, I know it shouldn't do that, but I ran my car twice at the track with it disconnected and the car 60's got worse. I attributed it to chassis flex in my vert. My car was downright scarey with it removed. Going around turns I thought my front bumper on the outside of the turn was going to hit the ground, and that that rear inside tire was going to lift! It was that pronounced.
