It has 130k on the clock and its an auto...do you think i should buy it for 4500 bucks? thanks!

NO, ive seen 5speeds with under 100k for as little as 3grand....But i would be willing to pay more for a car in NICE condition, with a 5speed. However, dont get an auto....you will just was to switch it out later anyhow

i would say no since its an auto. unless it has heads and a cam even then the auto would make me think twice on it

It is TOTALLY going to depend upon what the market is like in your area. I see the prices peeps quote on here and it makes me want to come visit. When I was lookin for an SN recently, nothing in any kind of condition could be found for less than 6K bucks. Around here, that car would be a worth a solid look.

if its in good shape i'd personally go for it for the right price....i did and mine is an auto as well.....granted i'm colletingparts for a 5 speed.

The auto trans would make me take a pass on any Stang
but
That is just me

I really do think it is important to be honest with yourself about trans choice
if
it matters to you!

Lots of work and expense to switch a trans

thanks a lot for all the feedback! whats wrong with auto though? i mean is it that much slower?

by the way...the car is in EXCELLENT shape

In stock form ...... the auto is a good bit behind the stick.

The auto can be made to be very quick
